Simply click “JOIN NOW” on our home page which will lead you to our subscription page. Once you decide which subscription is best suited for you, you will be prompted to create an account and provide your credit card information. Your account will be created and activated immediately. *All subscriptions include a free 7-day trial. You must select a subscription option before being granted access to the free trial. 


WHAT’S INCLUDED?
Subscribing to TFL Formula gives you unlimited access anytime, anywhere, to our online library of content that includes 5 different class styles, with more than 200+ recorded workouts. This includes 30 minute METCON classes, 45 minute METCON classes, 45 minute STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING classes, 30 minute GLUTES AND CONDITIONING CLASSES, MOVE-IT classes. 

Visit the ‘PROGRAMS’ section on our platform that provides a breakdown of all the class styles we offer. All workouts use minimal equipment and can be modified for impact and skill levels. 


WILL I NEED EQUIPMENT?
Most of our workouts require minimal or no access to equipment. However, some classes such as Strength and Conditioning will require a dumbbells, bands and benches. All of our workouts will include a breakdown of equipment needed that you can read through before starting your workout, in the ‘About’ section under the video. 


HOW LONG ARE THE WORKOUTS?We have classes that are 30 minutes or 45 minutes. 
ARE ALL THE CLASSES LIVE?All of the classes are pre-recorded, not live. This means, subscribers can access at any time. 


HOW MUCH ARE YOUR MONTHLY MEMBERSHIPS?
We offer 1 month, 3 month and 6 month subscriptions. Breakdown as follows: 
• 1 month: $40.00 

• 3 month: $105.00 (breaks down to $35 per month)

• 6 month: $180 (breaks down to $30 per month)

CAN YOU SIGN ME UP? CAN YOU CHARGE ME FOR A ONE-MONTH/THREE-MONTH/SIX-MONTH SUBSCRIPTION?
Clients will have to sign up for the platform on their end by visiting the site, creating a profile and setting up their payment info. Signing up for the platform differs from the sign-up process for a membership in person at The Fitness Lab, in the sense that it’s all user-driven and we do not set anything up on our end. However, if you have issues creating your profile and setting up your subscription, please email tflformula@thefitnesslabottawa.com 

WHEN WILL NEW PROGRAMS OR WORKOUTS BE ADDED?
We have currently stopped releasing additional series onto the platform now that we have saved over 200+ workouts, in the form of 10 different 3-week programs that were launched from the period of February 2021 - September 2021. We will periodically add new content in the form of specialty programming that will be available at an additional cost. 


DOES THE PREVIOUS CONTENT EXPIRE?
No. All the series will live on the platform indefinitely. Each 3-week program is labelled “LAB 1”, “LAB 2”, “LAB 3” and so on (all the way up to “LAB 10"). So, if you have favourites from a past series, you can always tap into those workouts whenever you wish. 


CAN I DO A TRIAL BEFORE I COMMIT TO A SUBSCRIPTION?
All subscriptions include a 7-day free trial. In order to access the trial, you must select the 1 month, 3 month or 6 month subscription option. This means, upon signing up, you will not be charged for the first 7 days. Once the 7-day trial term comes to an end, you will be billed for the price of the subscription you selected. To avoid being charged, you must cancel the trial before it expires. Should you cancel during the trial period, you still have access to TFL Formula until the 7-day trial expires. 


WHAT IF I DON’T WANT TO CONTINUE ONCE I’VE COMPLETED THE TRIAL?
As mentioned above, to avoid being charged, you must cancel the trial before it expires. If you do not cancel during the trial period, you will be charged for the subscription that you selected when you signed up. However, please note that should you cancel during the trial period, you still have access to TFL Formula until the date of your expiry. 


WHY WAS I CHARGED AFTER THE TRIAL?
The free trial is a complimentary offer that you receive as a result of selecting one of our subscription plans. All free trials convert into a paid subscription. You were charged because you did not cancel your subscription in the 7-day free trial period. 


CAN YOU REFUND A PAYMENT?
There are no refunds available once you’ve been billed for your subscription. Whether you commit to 1 month, 3 months or 6 months, you are charged for your preferred duration in one payment. Ie. For 3 month and 6 month subscriptions, you are not billed every month, but rather, in one lump some payment. 


HOW DO I RENEW MY SUBSCRIPTION AFTER 1 MONTH, 3 MONTHS OR 6 MONTHS?
Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of your 1 month, 3 month or 6-month period. This means, if you subscribe for 1 month, you will auto-renew for another 1 month period. If you sign up for 3 months, you will auto-renew for another 3 month period. If you sign up for 6 months, you will auto-renew for another 6 month period. 

You will receive a notice via email seven days before you are charged again for your subscription renewal, as well as a renewal notice once the charge has gone through. 


WHAT IF I DO NOT WANT TO CONTINUE AFTER MY SUBSCRIPTION TERM? HOW DO I CANCEL?
Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of your 1 month, 3 month or 6 month period. This means, if you subscribe for 1 month, you will auto-renew for another 1 month period. If you sign up for 3 months, you will auto-renew for another 3 month period. If you sign up for 6 months, you will auto-renew for another 6 month period. 

If you do not wish to continue with a renewal of your subscription, you will need to cancel your subscription before it automatically renews. You can do this by simply clicking ‘Change Plan’ then ‘Cancel Membership' under the ‘Billing’ section of your profile. Once you’ve cancelled, you won’t be charged again, but your membership will continue to provide access until the end of your current plan term. 


WHAT IF I SIGN UP FOR 1 MONTH AND THEN WANT TO UPGRADE TO THE 3 MONTH OR 6 MONTH SUBSCRIPTION? OR, I SIGN UP FOR 3 MONTHS AND WANT TO UPGRADE TO 6 MONTHS?
As outlined above, all subscriptions are set to automatically renew once your term comes to an end. If you want to change your plan for the next billing period, you may do so by clicking ‘Change Plan’ under the ‘Billing’ section of your profile. This would be implemented at the end of your current subscription term. 


CAN I TRANSFER MY MEMBERSHIP TO SOMEONE ELSE? I’M NOT USING IT ANYMORE AND NO LONGER WANT MY PAYMENT INFO ON FILE. 
You can simply remove your payment information from your profile, ensure your subscription is not set to renew by cancelling your subscription under your ‘Billing' section of your profile, then provide them with your login credentials so they can access until your subscription expires. 


WILL PEOPLE STILL HAVE ACCESS TO ALL THE IGTV WORKOUTS?
Yes! We have 200+ workouts saved to our IGTV that will live there for good. You can still continue to utilize these for your daily at-home workouts. 


IS THIS AN APP?
No. TFL Formula is a web-based platform that can be accessed on any device such as your phone, tablet or smart TV. TFL Formula is accessible on over hundreds of devices including iOS devices, Android devices, MACs, PCs as well as streaming media boxes such as Roku, Apple TV, and Chromecast.


DO YOU HAVE A STUDENT DISCOUNT?
No. All of our rates are the same for everyone. 

CAN I APPLY PAYMENTS FROM MY TFL ACCOUNT TOWARDS MY TFL FORMULA SUBSCRIPTION? OR VICE VERSA?
No. These are two entirely separate systems, therefore, your memberships are not interchangeable between the two. We cannot transfer any payments from your account at The Fitness Lab to your account on TFL Formula. Or vice versa. 


CAN I PUT MY SUBSCRIPTION ON HOLD?
Your subscription will run continuously from start to finish, with no option to suspend, for the duration you selected at the beginning of your subscription process. 


THE VIDEO QUALITY IS LAGGING. HELP. 
All of our videos are filmed in the highest quality resolution. It’s likely a result of your internet speed, meaning, you need to choose the lower quality resolution to view the videos. Click the "Setting" button in the right hand corner of the video beside the volume. This gives you access to increase or decrease the quality of the video.


I FORGOT MY PASSWORD
This works the same as any other site you forget your password for. Simply click on ‘Sign In’ where you are directed to the login page. Click ‘Forgot Password’, and the rest is pretty straightforward. Once you provide your email, you will be sent instructions on how to reset your password. 


WHAT HAPPENS IF THE PLATFORM SHUTS DOWN? WILL I BE REFUNDED?
Yes. If the platform were to shut down, everyone with subscriptions would be refunded the amount owed based on their subscription expiry date.
